Cookie Policy

1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how CliniPeak uses cookies and similar technologies on clinipeak.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies, including pixels and local storage, can record interactions or remember information. Some are needed to provide a feature you request; others support advertising or help us understand how the website is used.
2. The technologies we use
Strictly necessary technologies
These support essential functions such as security, saving your cookie choices and providing a booking function you request. They are used without optional marketing consent only where they are genuinely necessary for the relevant function.
Optional marketing and measurement technologies
We use Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and remarketing. If Klaviyo website tracking is enabled, we also use its technologies to recognise subscribers and understand interactions with our website and email signup forms.
These optional technologies are used only after you give the relevant consent. Browsing the website, scrolling, booking a call or agreeing to our Terms and Conditions does not amount to consent to them.
| Provider / technology | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
CliniPeak cookie preference storage: clinipeak-consent (local storage) | Remembers your consent choices. | Strictly necessary | Up to six months; browser restrictions may shorten this. |
| Cal.com booking cookies or local storage, where set | Supports requested booking features, security and relevant preferences. Optional features are subject to consent where required. | Depends on the specific function | Actual names and expiry periods are listed in Cookie Settings. |
Meta Pixel: _fbp | Recognises a browser for advertising measurement and relevant adverts. | Optional marketing | Typically up to 3 months; browser restrictions may shorten this. |
Meta Pixel: _fbc, where set | Associates a visit or action with a Facebook or Instagram advertising click. | Optional marketing | Up to 90 days; browser restrictions may shorten this. |
Klaviyo: __kla_id, only if website tracking is enabled | Recognises a visitor or subscriber and associates relevant website activity with a profile. | Optional marketing | Up to 2 years; browser restrictions may shorten this. |
The current cookie inventory is available in Cookie Settings. Cookies are not all set on every visit: this depends on the features you use, your choices and your browser. Persistent cookies may be renewed during later visits after consent.
3. Meta Pixel
When you consent to marketing cookies, Meta Pixel records relevant website interactions and shares information with Meta. This helps us understand which adverts lead to visits or enquiries and show CliniPeak adverts to previous visitors on Facebook or Instagram.
Meta may connect this information with information it already holds about you. Please read our Privacy Policy, Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta's Cookies Policy for more information.
Rejecting marketing cookies prevents our optional Meta tracking on this website. It does not prevent you from seeing CliniPeak adverts elsewhere through other advertising activity.
4. Cal.com and Klaviyo
Cal.com supplies our booking functionality. Technologies necessary to complete or secure a booking may be used when you request that functionality. Other optional technologies require consent where applicable. See the Cal.com Privacy Policy.
Klaviyo supplies email and subscription functionality. Where its optional website tracking is enabled, it runs only with the relevant consent. Sending a subscription form to Klaviyo and enabling optional website tracking are separate activities. See the Klaviyo Privacy Centre.
Optional email open or link tracking is explained in our Privacy Policy. Website cookie choices do not automatically change your email subscription or email tracking preferences; contact us about those choices or use the unsubscribe link.
5. Managing your choices
Our cookie banner lets you Accept all, Reject optional cookies, or Manage preferences. Optional categories are off until you choose to enable them. You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time through Cookie Settings in the website footer.
Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking on this website. It does not automatically delete information already lawfully collected; contact us if you want to request deletion. You may also need to delete previously stored cookies through your browser settings.
You can use your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary technologies may affect particular features, including booking or remembering your preferences. Rejecting optional marketing cookies does not prevent you from contacting us or booking a call.
Our website choices apply to clinipeak.com. If you follow a link and visit a provider's website directly, that website has its own cookie controls and policies.
6. How long cookies remain
Session cookies usually expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you or your browser deletes them. Their lifespan is separate from the retention period for information already collected through them.
See the table above and Cookie Settings for the relevant expiry periods.
7. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as our website or tools change. The latest version appears on this page with the updated date. Where necessary, we will ask for consent before using new optional tracking.
